Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. Her most famous role is famous for her performance as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy series 'Mom.' A California born, Calvano was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. She later chose to become an actress. Her first screen appearance was in 2010 in an episode of the CBS series 'NCIS'. The biographical crime thriller film J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year after. Over the years she's established herself as one the most promising actors in the business. In recognition of her role in the show 'NCIS', she was awarded a Young Artist Award for Best Performance on a Television Series - Guest Starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013, for the role of a guest on Disney XD's "Kickin' it comedy show and received a second nomination for the Young Artist Award.
