Aisha Hinds
Aisha Jamila Hinds is a known American actress who is best known for the roles she performed in the television show 'True Blood and The Shield.' Since her first appearance in 2003 Aisha Jamila Hinds proved her versatility as an actor with her outstanding performances on the television shows like "9-1-1," "Detroit 18-7' and Under the Dome. She was in 2005's "Assault at Precinct 13" playing Anna was the first role to grab her interest. But it was her performance as women's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer, in the biography movie "All the Way" that ultimately earned her the recognition she deserves as an actor. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's"Underground," an historical drama, was also widely acclaimed. She currently stars on the procedural drama series '9-1-1' in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta "Hen" Wilson. The show has been renewed for a new season from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind was recently able to wrap filming the Hollywood feature 'Godzilla King of the Monsters, that is scheduled to debut in late-2019.
